This week, Teacher Tapp stats have been used in a BBC Radio Four programme, File On 4 Investigates: Are white working-class girls falling behind?

The BBC asked Teacher Tapp to help investigate. We asked senior leaders about the caring responsibilities young girls at school were facing. We found 41% reported there had been an increase in the past two years.

When specifically looking at schools with the highest levels of students on free school meals, that number increases to 49%. In schools with the lowest number of students on free school meals, it drops to 32%.
