Everyday, thousands of teachers answer our questions. By late afternoon those answers can be in front of a journalist, a minister or a headteacher making a decision. That only works if the numbers are right. Which is why being the guardian of our data is the most important job at Teacher Tapp.
We are hiring for that job.
In practice, this means owning the accuracy of everything related to our data: the weighting that makes a few thousand teachers representative of half a million, the school characteristics, the sample composition, and the daily checks that catch a problem before anyone else notices. It also means being the person who sees a figure that looks slightly wrong, cannot let it go, and works backwards until they find out why.
This is a job for a real data specialist. We are a small organisation and have just one expert per area, so you would be ours for data.
